Booga part deux and sock part une...

Just have to knit, what seems to be endless, i-cord for the handle...then felt.

One done the second to come...I have to block then they are fit to wear. Here are some links for DIY sock blockers and these too.

Bogga bag finished!

It's finished! I used grommets! I wasn't without challenge. I found that punching a hole was problematic, the fabric would spread out beyond the grommet. So my solution was to just snip a tiny hole and worked the grommet through carefully. I used the rings with little teeth to make it more sucure...the true test will be when we put stuff in it...Happy Birthday Bert!

It's felted!

It is about half the size! The incredible shrinking bag! My experience with felting has usually shank in height but not width, not this time...I used Patons SWS violet colorway. I like the way it knit and the color changes were even and gradient. I used 3 skeins and just knit till the yarn ran out. The pattern called for knitting 64 rounds, but kept knitting. I have the result I was hoping for by knitting it longer...I will post when dry...and complete with handles...I tend to get the stitch gauge, but not the row gauge, so I knit extra length to compensate.
